Manifest Distilling Announces Partnership With STAGE Fund

In a fundraising partnership with STAGE Fund, Manifest Distilling of Jacksonville, Florida, is proud to announce the Commedia Dell’Arte Artist Collector’s Series, designed with the help of five local artists and assembled by the creative minds at Brunet-García Advertising.

“We would like to take this moment to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended this month’s 43rd Arts Awards Gala,” says David Cohen, president of Manifest Distilling. “Manifest was thrilled to be able to support the LEAP initiative with our inaugural Artist Series bottle project, and the response to our live auction was inspiring. Out of 24 unique artist-designed 1.75L bottles, only six remain. The mission of the Cultural Council is one of great importance to all of us at Manifest. We cherish the time spent working together on this project and look forward to bringing it to life again with a new round of local artists in 2020.”

These final six are now on display for direct purchase at the Manifest Distilling Tasting Room. If you are interested in acquiring any of these one-of-a-kind art pieces, please don’t hesitate to contact either Manifest Distilling or the Cultural Council directly.

This Commedia Dell’Arte Artist Collector’s series contains examples of the five distinct spirits created in-house at Manifest Distilling, with bottle and case design that conveys the whimsical, satirical nature of 17th century Italian improvisational theater—the source from which all modern theatrical character types were born. Featuring Hiromi Moneyhun, Elena Øhlander, Searing Limb, Chris Clark, and Cody William Wicker, these limited edition, five-bottle sets will be produced in a single run to be available exclusively from the Downtown Jacksonville Tasting Room.

Proceeds from the series will benefit STAGE Fund, a local non-profit dedicated to the compensation of theatre professionals in Northeast Florida and the enrichment of Jacksonville’s cultural landscape. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit the ongoing mission of the Cultural Council.

The Commedia Dell’Arte Artist Collector’s Series will be available for pickup beginning November 8th, 2019 from Manifest Distilling. Pre-Sales will be open to the public starting Thursday, October 3rd. Bottles can be purchased here

This is a very exciting project: a limited release of locally distilled spirits, housed in bottles designed by local artists (paid for their work!), and collected within a case constructed by local designers at Brunet-García Advertising, all for the benefit of paying local theatre artists in the Northeast Florida region. This set is being produced in very limited quantities, and we strongly suggest ordering early to ensure availability before the holiday rush.
