November 2019 marks the 2nd Annual Maryland Spirits Month, a statewide celebration of Maryland’s distilling and spirits industry. Maryland Spirits Month, organized by the Maryland Distillers Guild, highlights the local businesses throughout the Free State that produce a wide range of innovative distilled spirits.
Maryland’s distilling industry consists of 28 independent, local businesses that employ staff from and rely on raw materials grown in the state.
Some of the Maryland Spirits Month events include an Old Fashioned Cocktail Tour at Sagamore Spirit, Tenth Ward Distilling’s Thanksgiving Pop-Up Bar (in Collaboration with Flying Dog Brewery) and a host of tastings, tours and product launch parties throughout the state.
