The U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) today announced the appointment of David M. Wulf to deputy administrator.
Wulf joins TTB from the Department of Homeland Security, where he served as associate director of the cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and as the acting deputy assistant secretary for Infrastructure Protection.
Wulf started his career in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), where he served in a number of leadership positions, including chief of the Office of Regulatory Affairs, director of the National Center for Explosives Training and Research, and senior counsel for Field Operations. He also served as the acting deputy assistant director of ATF’s Office of Public and Governmental Affairs.
