Golden Moon Distillery of Golden, Colorado, recently earned two honors in the Gin Magazine Awards 2021.
Golden Moon Speakeasy (the distillery’s tasting room located at 1111 Miners Alley in downtown Golden) was named Bar of the Year and Golden Moon Distillery received the honor of Highly Commended for Distiller of the Year.
For the first time the awards were announced virtually, in a broadcast streamed on the Gin Magazine Facebook page.
Comprising three parts, the Gin Magazine Awards are designed to commend the very best people, places and products in the world of gin.
From bartenders to brand ambassadors, retailers to visitor attraction managers, the Icons of Gin awards honor those who have worked tirelessly for the growth of the industry. Among this year’s winners were Brazil’s Amázzoni Gin, which was crowned Distiller of the Year, and Warner’s Distillery, which was named Craft Producer of the Year.
