Whiskey Del Bac of Tucson, Arizona, put a Southwestern accent on its first foray into rye whiskey, which forms the base for this refreshing concoction.
2 ounces Sentinel Straight Rye Whiskey
3/4 ounces lemon juice
1/2 ounce Giffard raspberry liqueur
1/2 ounce simple syrup
6 mint leaves
Knob of ginger cut into medallions
Add mint, ginger and simple syrup to a shaker and muddle. Add remaining ingredients and ice. Shake to chill. Double strain into rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a fresh sprig of mint.
