Liberty Pole Spirits Unveils New Distillery Campus

Liberty Pole Spirits of Washington, Pennsylvania, proudly announces the grand opening of its brand new, state-of-the-art Whiskey Campus located at 800 Adios Drive in North Strabane. This exciting venture signifies a milestone in the distillery’s evolution, as it expands both its seating and production capacity and reaffirms its commitment to producing exceptional handcrafted Pennsylvania whiskey.

Nestled amidst the rolling hills of Southwestern PA, the LPS Whiskey Campus encompasses an impressive array of features that will captivate the full range of whiskey-enthusiasts. Among the highlights are a traditional five-story barrel warehouse, an expansive production facility boasting two traditional pot stills, and the grand centerpiece—the exquisitely decorated colonial-themed tasting room known as the Meetinghouse.

“We are delighted to invite whiskey enthusiasts, history buffs, connoisseurs, and curious minds alike to join us as we embark on this exciting new chapter,” said Jim Hough, co-founder of Liberty Pole Spirits. “Our Whiskey Campus not only celebrates our heritage and craft but also serves as a tribute to our unwavering commitment to producing boldly authentic Pennsylvania whiskeys.”

The new production facility consists of four 1,000-gallon fermenters along with a 1,000-gallon cooker supplied by Deutsche Beverage Technologies of Charlote, N.C. The facility also boasts 2 large pot stills: a 1,000-gallon stripping still from Vendome Brass and Copper Works of Louisville, Kentucky, and a 600-gallon spirit still from Specific Mechanical of Victoria, B.C.

The five-story barrel warehouse stands as proof of LPS’ desire to create the ultimate aging environment for their whiskeys. One of the few 5 story rick-houses outside of Kentucky and Indiana, this investment in a tried-and-true whiskey aging environment illustrates the LPS commitment to producing exceptional whiskeys.

At the heart of the Whiskey Campus lies the magnificent Meetinghouse—a tastefully decorated colonial-themed space where visitors can immerse themselves in the storied history and timeless allure of whiskey. This refined setting invites guests to embark on a sensory journey, savoring the distinct aromas and nuanced flavors of LPS’ exceptional range of whiskeys. Additionally, a separate Spirits Shoppe offers the complete lineup of Liberty Pole whiskey plus an array of finely curated merchandise, providing enthusiasts the opportunity to take a piece of Liberty Pole Spirits home with them.

The doors of the Whiskey Campus will open to the public on Saturday, July 15th at noon, inviting all to embark on a one-of-a-kind journey into the world of Liberty Pole Spirits. Whether you are a seasoned

whiskey lover or an intrigued novice, LPS promises an unforgetable experience, where every sip unveils a story, and every glass holds the essence of their steadfast dedication to the art of whiskey making.
