Same Old Fashioned Week Returns to Wander Folk Spirits

Same Old Fashioned Week returns to Guthrie, Oklahoma-based WanderFolk Spirits, with plans for a sip-off event and weeklong bar crawl. The sip-off event is slated to happen Nov. 12 in Oklahoma City’s Tower Theater, with all proceeds going to The Homeless Alliance, followed by the weeklong bar crawl kicking off in multiple markets including Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Kansas City, Little Rock and Fayetteville.

The event encourages folks to get out and enjoy their local independent bars and restaurants to sip on Old Fashioned cocktails carefully crafted with Same Old Moses Bourbon and Ryes. Participants can grab a ‘passport’ from a participating location and register it on the Wanderfolk website before starting their week of fun visiting local hot spots to taste their bartender’s talented creations. All participants will also receive a WanderFolk prize pack, rewarding their participation in the event. This campaign is available in multiple markets across the Midwest.

To kick-off the bar crawl, Tower Theater and WanderFolk Spirits have partnered up to host a sip-off event that takes place the evening of Nov. 12. This ticketed event will include specialty cocktails from 12 superstar mixologists, food from 84 Hospitality Group, live music, entertainment, and access to a charity raffle. Everything is included with the ticket purchase and a portion of all event sales will be donated directly to The Homeless Alliance of Oklahoma.

“These events are meant to showcase the parts of our industry that Wanderfolk Spirits are most passionate about in all that we do.” said Derek Duty, director of sales and marketing. “Spotlighting the talented individuals making magic in our local bars and restaurants, with our handcrafted, world-class spirits, in support of strengthening our communities and doing a little extra good in the process…it is the root of our company culture.”
