Fort Worth, Texas-based Oak & Eden unveils its new Reserve Series, a premium collection marrying the brand’s acclaimed spirits with the world’s most exotic and distinctive woods. Available in stores as well as online, the Reserve Series kicks off with Bourbon & Amburana (SRP $59.99 / 750ml).
Bourbon & Amburana features Oak & Eden’s full flavored, 100 proof (50% ABV) High Rye Bourbon with South America’s most intriguing and impactful wood species—Amburana. This delicate but powerful wood is amazingly fragrant with strong notes of vanilla in its raw form. Once seasoned and prepared for pairing with the brand’s bourbon, Amburana develops amazing aromas of gingerbread, cinnamon, smooth vanilla, and baked apples adding an alluring and perfectly balanced sweetness to the palette of the whiskey. Amburana’s unique ability to swiftly impart these complex flavors has captivated enthusiasts and distillers alike.
“Our interest in Amburana reflects our commitment to innovation and the exploration of how different woods influence whiskey,” comments Oak & Eden co-founder Brad Neathery. “The rise of Amburana-finished whiskeys isn’t just a trend; it’s a testament to the industry’s ongoing quest for distinctiveness and quality.”
Acknowledged on Fast Company’s 2024 Most Innovative Companies list for its groundbreaking Whiskey Customizer tool, Oak & Eden remains steadfast in its commitment to innovation and pushing boundaries within the spirits category. Fueled by its patented In-Bottle Finishing process, the brand consistently crafts whiskies that challenge convention. The Reserve Series, along with all of Oak & Eden’s high-proof expressions, undergoes no cold chill filtering, ensuring a luxuriously robust flavor profile and velvety texture.
