Holland, Michigan-based CraftCo. Brands announced the immediate appointment of Ali Anderson as its CEO. Anderson, who previously served as the company’s national sales director, will oversee strategy and operations for the diverse portfolio of innovative craft spirits comprised of more than 30 spirits and liqueurs across the bourbon, gin, vodka, rye, and ready-to-drink categories.
“We are delighted that Ali Anderson has been appointed as the new CEO of CraftCo. Over the years, Ali has demonstrated exceptional leadership, a deep understanding of our business, and a strong commitment to our values and mission. Promoting Ali from within is a testament to our belief in cultivating and recognizing the talent we have within our organization,” said Greg McNeilly, CEO and president of the Windquest Group. “We are confident that under Ali’s leadership, CraftCo. will continue to thrive and achieve new heights.”
As general manager and director of sales at Jos. A Magnus, Anderson’s leadership was pivotal in re-establishing the historic, pre-prohibition brand in Washington, D.C. She oversaw sales and operations, leading the company from the start-up phase to national distribution. Her transformative efforts turned the company into the most highly awarded and widely distributed brand of the CraftCo. portfolio. Later on, as national sales director at CraftCo., Anderson oversaw and spearheaded the commercial growth strategy and national expansion of CraftCo.’s premium spirit brands from launch to maturity, including strategic initiatives to drive consumer engagement and brand equity and the innovation and launch of two new whiskey brands.
“At CraftCo., we have found success by offering our fans well-loved and well-respected spirits developed alongside passionate people who embrace innovation and growth,” said Anderson. “Our West Michigan heritage, the legacy of the industrious workers of the region, and our commitment to engaging skilled individuals has been our guiding principles since our founding and will continue to guide us into the future.”
Anderson earned her MBA from Webster University in St. Louis and recently completed the DISCUS Executive Leadership Program at the University of Kentucky Gatton College of Business & Economics. Ali’s ongoing commitment to professional development and industry engagement underscores her dedication to driving innovation and creating value in the spirits industry.
