Barrell Craft Spirits Announces New Foundation Single Barrels

Barrell Craft Spirits is proud to unveil its latest innovation: Foundation Bourbon Single Barrels, a new line of microblended bourbons that underwent a secondary maturation process to achieve unparalleled depth and complexity.

Each Foundation Single Barrel began with a careful selection of two Indiana five-year-old barrels that are used to blend the award-winning Foundation series, blending complementary components to create a distinct microbatch. These blends were then re-barreled and returned to some of the most desirable locations within the historic BCS rickhouse for extended aging, allowing them to continue evolving in Kentucky’s dynamic climate.

In a first for the brand, the rick number will be prominently featured on each label, highlighting the specific maturation environment and reinforcing the influence of place and position within the rickhouse.

“These releases are a natural extension of our Foundation series and represent a new level of precision in how we build and mature whiskey,” said Joe Beatrice, Founder of Barrell Craft Spirits. “We’re combining our blending expertise with intentional secondary aging to push flavor boundaries even further.” True to the Barrell ethos of innovation and craftsmanship, the Foundation Single Barrels are produced in small, low-yield batches ensuring each bottle delivers bold, concentrated flavor. The barrels are carefully planned and built in phases of approximately 40 at a time, with launches rolling out in select markets only, making them a rare find for discerning whiskey enthusiasts. The first 40 barrels will be named the Founder’s Series and are rolling out now through the BCS distribution network. Retailers can also direct any questions to contact@barrellbourbon.com.
