Larrikin Bourbon Co., the only veteran-distilled and owned distillery on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, has added another first: the Larrikin Cigar Lounge — home of bourbon, banter, and a bit of smoke.
Larrikin is Kentucky’s only distillery with a walk-in cigar humidor and a dedicated cigar lounge — styled after your grandma’s basement, if your grandma had impeccable taste and a healthy appreciation for bourbon. It’s equal parts nostalgia, mischief, and mid-century cool.
Bourbon and cigars go together like Taylor and Travis. At Larrikin, visitors can puff a cigar as they sample whiskey or enjoy bourbon and cigar pairings, in an irreverently comfortable setting.
“We didn’t want another pretentious lounge with leather chairs and jazz you pretend to like,” said Greg Keeley, Navy veteran and Founder of Larrikin Bourbon Co. “We built a place where Larrikins can light up, pour one neat, and bullshit ‘til the kangaroos come home.”
The Cigar Lounge adds to Larrikin’s lineup of experiences – from cocktail classes to private barrel picks and “bottle your own” sessions – because Larrikin is Australian for bourbon.
