On Saturday, November 8, 2025, Garrison Brothers Distillery hosted its 9th annual Red, White & Bourbon, a ticketed fundraiser that takes place on the Saturday before Veterans Day. The special event benefits the Admiral Nimitz Foundation’s National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, Texas, a world-class cultural institution that provides the nation’s most comprehensive account of World War II in the Asiatic-Pacific theater and honors Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz. The annual family-friendly event, attended by over 500 guests, raised over $39,000.00. Funds raised will be used by the Foundation for museum programs and efforts.
Hosted in Hye, Texas at Garrison Brothers Distillery, Red, White & Bourbon featured live music, delicious Hill Country food and an abundance of craft bourbon cocktails. The event featured a silent auction and raffle.
“Recognizing our veterans and war heroes is in the DNA of Garrison Brothers, and we could not be prouder to continue our support and fundraising efforts for the National Museum of the Pacific War right here in Fredericksburg,” shares Dan Garrison, Founder, Garrison Brothers Distillery. “Red, White & Bourbon is more than just a fundraiser; it is a tribute to American history, service, and community.”
The Admiral Nimitz Foundation’s National Museum of the Pacific War hosted an interactive pop-up exhibit which included a mobile Nimitz Museum experience, live cannon firing, and WWI era vehicles.
“We are deeply grateful for our ongoing collaborative partnership with Nancy and Dan, and the whole Garrison Brothers Distillery and Good Bourbon for a Good Cause teams. Their contributions to The Foundation and the Museum are a hallmark of our collective impact on the Hill Country community, the State of Texas, and beyond,” said Dr. Rorie Cartier, President and CEO of Admiral Nimitz Foundation.
2025 Red, White & Bourbon sponsors included US Foods, Mercedes Benz of Boerne, Carter Creek Winery, Fischer & Wieser Farmstead, and Opa’s Smoked Sausage.
