Devil’s Foot Beverage Co. Releases Zero-Proof Margarita

Devil’s Foot Beverage Co. of Asheville, North Carolina, announces the launch of its Zero-Proof Margarita, the eighth installation of the company’s Zero Proof Series. The collection of non-alcoholic beverages underscores Devil’s Foot’s dedication to producing drinks crafted with locally sourced organic ingredients that cater to the growing consumer appetite for healthier and alcohol-free choices.

A non-alcoholic alternative to a traditional margarita, the Zero-Proof Margarita utilizes fresh ingredients typically found in the cocktail including fresh lime, orange, and salt—sans the tequila. Free from artificial additives and preservatives, the Zero-Proof Margarita uses 100% organic lime juice, organic orange juice, organic cane sugar, South Carolina honey, sea salt, and filtered water, with only 18 grams of sugar per can.

In addition to the Zero-Proof Margarita, Devil’s Foot and Edmund’s Oast Brewery collaborated on a new Limed IPA launching later this year at Edmund’s Oast Brewery using upcycled fruit from Devil’s Foot’s Full Fruit Life Program.

The Zero-Proof Margarita is now available at The Mule, Devil’s Foot’s Taproom and Production Facility in Asheville, and Edmund’s Oast Distillery in Charleston, South Carolina. Ready-to-drink cans are available to purchase online and ship to the lower 48 states via the Devil’s Foot Online store, and will soon be available in other select taprooms, Earth Fare, and Fresh Market locations throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama.

“We have wanted to collaborate with our friends at Edmund’s Oast in Charleston for a while and the Zero-Proof Margarita and Limed IPA presented a perfect opportunity,” states Devil’s Foot founder, Ben Colvin. “Using fresh lime and orange juices with fresh zests and a nice hint of salt, this NA Margarita hits the sweet spot for summertime!”

“We were delighted to work with our friends to the north at Devil’s Foot on this refreshing and summer-ready N/A Margarita,” states Timmons Pettigrew, director of group operations at Edmund’s Oast. “In addition to being cool folks and gracious hosts, they make delicious drinks. We’ve achieved great results by incorporating products from their Full Fruit Life program into our own beer!”
