Spirit Hub, an online marketplace for craft spirits from independent distilleries, has launched a new Virtual Happy Hour series focused on educating consumers about the finest craft spirits from around the world and allowing distilleries nationwide to connect with their customers live during COVID-19. Weekly on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Spirit Hub invites liquor enthusiasts to grab a cocktail and head to its Facebook page to hear the unique brand stories of these independent distilleries, participate in a virtual tasting, learn new cocktail recipes and engage in an interactive Q&A with the distillers.
“We’re happy to continue developing out-of-the box ideas to support our distillery partners during this uncertain time,” said Michael Weiss, CEO and Founder of Spirit Hub. “We know that many of our partners have been forced to close their doors indefinitely due to COVID-19, and we’re committed to helping them find new ways to stay connected to their customers in this new virtual climate.”
Each live happy hour will feature a different independent distillery, diving into the brand’s history and product lineup followed by cocktail recipe demonstrations that viewers can recreate at home. Participants are able to submit questions and have them answered live during the Q&A portion of the event. The series takes place every Tuesday and Thursday beginning at 5 PM CST and last approximately 30 minutes.
