As American single malt whiskey producers await the spirit’s imminent category recognition by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) , Virginia Distillery Company (VDC) has launched “ASM Academy”, what it calls the most comprehensive educational course on American single malt whisky in the world.
With more than 25 videos available as a training tool for producers, distributors, accounts, anyone will have the opportunity to learn more about the up-and-coming category. Users will have the chance to learn everything about ASM production, what makes it unique, what regions and producers across the country are making ASM and how VDC specifically does it through quizzes, videos, and more.
