Wyoming Whiskey has released Barrel Strength Bourbon Whiskey #6429, a rare single-barrel expression selected from the top one or two barrels in the distillery’s Kirby, Wyoming rickhouses. Identified by Master Blender Brendan Cook, this barrel stands apart for its exceptional character and is bottled on its own rather than blended. Bottled at barrel proof to preserve maximum flavor and richness, Barrel Strength #6429 represents the highest tier of the distillery’s production. Production is highly limited, with fewer than 500 bottles typically released each year.
All Wyoming Whiskey expressions are handcrafted from grain to glass and aged a minimum of five years in newly charred oak barrels. The Big Horn Basin’s dramatic temperature swings intensify barrel interaction, resulting in concentrated, complex flavor profiles, particularly evident at barrel strength.
