Two bills supporting direct-to-consumer (DtC) shipping of distilled spirits have been introduced to the Hawaii State Legislature.
HB2189 (introduced by Reps. Dee Morikawa and John Mizuno) and SB2289 (introduced by Sen. Ronald Kouchi) would allow the direct shipment of beer and distilled spirits by certain licensees, effective July 1.
SB2289 has passed its first reading and been referred to committees. HB2189 was introduced on Tuesday.
