Fast Penny Spirits Launches Funding Campaign to Drive Growth

Seattle-based Fast Penny Spirits announced the launch of a public funding campaign. The woman-owned, women-led brand blends the founder’s Italian heritage with flavors and ingredients of the Pacific Northwest to create a complex yet easy to drink aperitif and digestif.

Every step of Fast Penny Spirits’ production process incorporates sustainable practices. Amaricano and Amaricano Bianca are crafted with upcycled distilled west coast grapes and over 45 organic, wild-crafted, and consciously sourced botanicals. The company uses recycled glass bottles and reclaimed corks, supports local farmers and producers, uses eco-friendly packaging, and only sources enough ingredients for each batch of amaro.

“Fast Penny Spirits’ success is a testament to a growing interest in American made amaro and conscious consumers seeking more sustainable options,” said Jamie Hunt, founder and CEO.

The company has received much notoriety for its amaro from some of the world’s most prestigious spirits competitions. Amaricano won Double Gold at the 2022 Women’s Wine & Spirits Awards, Gold at the 2022 Denver International Spirits Competition and 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Awards, and placed in the Top 100 Spirits of 2021 by Wine Enthusiast.

In addition to creating award-winning sustainable amaro, the B-Corp certified company is dedicated to stirring up positive change. Their Pretty Penny give-back program was ingrained in the business model from the start and contributes 3% of bottle revenue to elevate women in business, local communities, and the industry.

“We set out to make an exquisite and sustainable amaro as our opportunity to show up, support, and empower others,” added Hunt.  “This campaign will expand our ability to have lasting impact with increasingly larger philanthropic donations from our Pretty Penny give-back program.”

Fast Penny Spirits has launched its fundraising campaign on StartEngine, the largest equity crowdfunding platform in the country. More details about the campaign can be found here: https://www.startengine.com/fastpennyspirits.

Fast Penny Spirits’ amaro can be found at retailers, bars, and restaurants in California, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Oregon, Tennessee, and Washington. The distillery also ships to over 30 states nationwide.
