Garrison Brothers Distillery of Hye, Texas, is proud to announce the 2021 Bourbon Takeover of America, a 12-day event uniting restaurants and bars nationwide as they showcase their best in bourbon-focused cocktails and culinary creations for guests to experience from Sept. 13-24. Presented by Time Out, bourbon enthusiasts and newcomers are invited to take part in the event by downloading Garrison Brothers Bourbon Takeover PassportApp (iOS/Android) beginning September 13, and checking in to participating accounts to earn points redeemable for exclusive Garrison Brothers swag.
With September being National Bourbon Heritage Month, Garrison Brothers is encouraging everyone of drinking age to experience and learn more about bourbon. With dozens of restaurants and bars already signed up, bar and culinary teams are creating limited time featured cocktails and dishes to enjoy during the event.

The cities of Austin, San Antonio, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Tampa, Palm Beach, Chicago and New York all have bars and restaurants participating in the 2021 Bourbon Takeover of America. In Los Angeles, APL, famous BBQ restaurant by Adam Perry Lang, will be highlighting Pecan Picante, a featured cocktail made with Garrison Brothers Small Batch. At The Walk In, one of Chicago’s best bars located in Logan Square, the bar will be featuring a Garrison Brothers Small Batch Texas Old Fashioned. The Whiskey Cake, located in America’s fastest growing area The Woodlands in the Houston Area, is featuring a specially crafted cocktail called Hill Country Heat, made with Garrison Brothers HoneyDew for guests to enjoy. For every check in at a participating location, bourbon drinkers can instantly earn and collect points that can be redeemed for exclusive Garrison Brothers swag at the conclusion of the Bourbon Takeover.
