Santa Fe Spirits of Santa Fe, New Mexico, is excited to announce its first ever Colkegan Mesquite Smoked Single Malt vertical tasting and release party.
Santa Fe Spirits has been putting aside a few cases of each Colkegan batch since batch four and has decided the time has come to release some of these old batches in the form of a vertical release event.
Colkegan Mesquite Smoked Single Malt Whiskey, Santa Fe Spirits’s flagship product, is an award-winning American single malt that was first released in September 2013. Nine years later, Santa Fe Spirits has just bottled batch 22.

The vertical release event has two options:
VIP Tasting Event
The VIP tasting will be limited seating and will include a guided tasting of the above-mentioned batches. The VIP tasting will also include an individual charcuterie plate and a Glencairn glass. VIP guests will have the first opportunity to purchase bottles from these batches and will receive a 20% discount on any purchases made on the day. VIP guests are welcome to stay for the general admission part of the event.

General Admission
The general admission event will follow the VIP event and will include samples of the above-mentioned batches. Tasting notes will be available, as will hors d’oeuvres. Owner Colin Keegan and head distiller Stephen Julander will be on hand to talk about the batches. The bar will be open for cocktails, beer and wine. There is no charge for the general admission event. Guests at the general admission event will receive a 10% discount on any purchases made on the day.
